A large modern freighter measuring 387 feet long she was broken apart during hurricane Opal in 1995 making her more of a large debris field but the wheelhouse is still intact and many of her internal features are now exposed for divers to view. The massive main engine and power generator are laying open on the seabed and though the stern is still intact, she lists on her port side. The center of the wreck rests in about 130 feet of water but the wheelhouse and bow section still rise to within 80 feet of the surface. This large wreck is one of the more interesting wrecks in the area because you never know what you will find while exploring the large debris field.
