Viking - Crew Profiles
Rob Schlitter - Crew
Robert grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and started diving in 1990. He moved to San Mateo, California in 2002 for work in computers. He retired in June 2015 and moved permanently to Pensacola. He has been certified up to the Rescue Diver level as well as Dry Suit, NITROX and EFR. He has dove in Missouri (Bonne Terre mine, Johnson Shut Ins, Table Rock lake), Florida (Key West, Pensacola, Ginnie Springs), California (Monterey Bay, San Diego), Hawaii (Kauai, Big Island), Mexico (Cozumel) and the Virgin Islands (St. John). He is preparing to take his Divemaster training and looking forward to continuing a career in diving!
He has been an avid diver and customer on board the “Viking” for years and decided to take the plunge and start to work with us helping to share the enjoyment he has had with his diving experiences aboard the “Viking” with others. He is our newest crew member and is soon to be working on his Dive Master Certification with Scuba Educators International and Capt. Tim Thorsen. Knowledge, Skills, and Training are the keys to success in diving and there is no better place to train than with Viking Diving.
